Hi I'm Kristin Kimball

I'm loud. I love to laugh. I am serving in the California Irvine mission. I'm a mormon.

About Me

Where are you from?... has always been one of the hardest questions for me to answer. I was born in Canada. Both of my parents are from the United States, so I'm an American citizen. I grew up in Belgium and Switzerland. And I go to school in Idaho. Oh and my parents are retiring to Utah. So you choose. I have two sisters and a brother. They are my best friends. My family is pretty much the best. I love having friends from all over the world. I am a student at Brigham Young University Idaho. I am studying communications. I want to get into events management after I graduate. My dream job would be taking care of all the Yankees events. I am a huge baseball fan. I love to spend time getting to know people. I am definitely a people person. I love a good adventure. But I hate change. I am an adreneline junkie and love to experience a good rush. Roller coasters are one of my favorite inventions. I love the color green. I watch way too many tv shows. I love to read. I love pickles and string cheese. And I love candy. That's me in a nutshell.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel of Jesus Christ has brought me so much peace and joy. I know that Heavenly Father knows me personally. How neat is that? I know that He sent His son Jesus Christ to atone for my sins. The gospel is centered around the family and the fact that they can live together forever. The gospel is one of hope and it encourages people to change. We are taught that it is never too late to repent and come unto Christ. It has been a constant comfort to me that God is always there. You can communicate with Him directly through prayer and He will answer you. I know this because I have put it to the test. I am a Mormon because I have a living prophet that I can listen to and gain guidance from. Being baptized and confirmed into the church allowed me to have the companionship of the Holy Ghost. I have been so blessed to have the Spirit with me throughout my life. I know that I have been protected and influenced in certain situations by the Spirit. Heavenly Father is mindful of all His children. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and if you read and pray about it you will come to know it is the word of God. It is a guide to help us. I love the gospel because it is focused on progress and becoming better. It is never too late. I love everything about being a Mormon. And I can't think of a greater blessing than being with my family forever. The gospel changes who you are and helps you see your full potential.

How I live my faith

I was blessed to have been born into the gospel. I have strived to accept and fulfill all church callings that have been extended to me. I have participated in family history work that has strengthened my testimony of the importance of doing temple work for our ancestors that went before us. I am currently serving as a full time missionary in Irvine, California. I had the opportunity to be part of a mission split. I served for 6 months in the California Anaheim mission and will complete my mission in the California Irvine mission. I love to serve others. I try to look for opportunities to be a good example.
