Hi I'm Brooke Boesch

I grew up near Kirtland, Ohio. I'm a competitive runner. I'm a nurse, I take care of the sick. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Brooke Boesch! :) I'm a second year student at University, studying recreation therapy. I'm a Nurse, I work with the elderly and tend to their needs. I've played piano for fifteen years. I also play bassoon. I run track and cross country, I LOVE races, relays, everything. I'm a disciple of Christ, He is my role model in every aspect of my life. I'm planning on serving a full-time mission in Manchester, England this spring.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in the church, it's easy to assume that I just went with the faith of my parents. But everyone must come to know the truth of it on their own. I remember wondering if it was ACTUALLY true. I read the Book of Mormon when I was 14, and asked my Father in Heaven sincerely if it was true. It took awhile for me to receive that answer, but it came, in a quiet but powerful way. With much thought and prayer, it just seemed to make sense. An uneducated farm boy couldn't have come up with this magnificent christian faith on his own. He couldn't have just, written the Book of Mormon one day, especially with the educational background he possessed. Once I came to understand that, everything else seemed to come to my understanding so much easier. If the Book of Mormon is true, then Joseph Smith is a Prophet. If he's a prophet, then Christ's restored gospel is on the earth today. If it's been restored, then Christ plans on returning to us one day, and so on. I know that this Church is true.

How I live my faith

I try to live a Christ centered life. I always try and serve my community, in particular the elderly as I work towards a career in health care. I know I'm not perfect, but I always try my best.
