Hi I'm Kristian Jorgensen

I grew up in Utah. I love learning new things and being outside. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just finished a semester at BYU and am now preparing to serve my mission. I am an avid BYU fan and love anything to do with sports. I enjoy playing soccer and golf especially. I can always be found spending time with family and friends or listening to music. I have had my share of trials, but I know without a doubt that this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church and grew up a member. I did not have a miraculous conversion or even a specific moment I can refer to that let me know this is the true church. Despite that, I can say this very moment that I know, without a doubt, that this church is true. My Heavenly Father has made it known to me in several occasions throughout my life. Through small and simple things, I have come to know that this is God's true church for us today. I know that if I live my life in this way I will be blessed and I hope to let others know of the joy this church has brought me. I have been blessed to know of the gospel and have a family that teaches me of the true happiness that it brings. I will continue to follow the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout my life because I know it is what my Father in Heaven wants me to do and it is something that I want to do.

How I live my faith

I have had many opportunities to serve people in my ward and community. I was recently able to serve as a teacher for a young men's group in my ward. I gained valuable experience and learned more for myself than those boys learned from me. I have also been able to volunteer at a local elementary and help teach in a Spanish immersion class. It has helped me realize the importance of service. I know that as we steer our lives towards Christ and pattern them after His, we will be blessed and come to know that He loves us so much. When we devote our lives to service, we are always blessed more than those we serve.
