Hi I'm Olivia

I'm a daughter, a sister, a friend, and a full-time missionary in South Dakota. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a college student that is taking a break to serve as a full-time missionary in North Dakota. I love sports, music, movies, and laughing. I am a sucker for stupid jokes and I love the simple things in life. I love to be outside, whether I'm exercising, reading, or just spending time with my family. I am in love with life, even when it's hard. I had a trying childhood, but one that has made me into the person that I am today. My family means more to me than anything. I love living in a beautiful world that is surrounded by beautiful things and beautiful people. I believe that happiness is a choice, and it is a choice that comes easier as we allow God to be an active part of our lives. For what it's worth, it's never too late to be whoever you want to be. I hope you live a life you are proud of, and if you find that you're not, I hope you have the strength to start all over again. -Unknown

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have always felt of my Heavenly Father's love in this faith. I have never felt as though something in my life was missing. The world likes to paint the picture that Mormons have to sacrifice so much to live the standards of the church, but I do not feel as though they are sacrifices, rather protective barriers. I have felt my Savior's love, and I feel it every day. Reading the Book of Mormon makes every day on this earth so much easier. I have received confirmation that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true church, and that Thomas S. Monson is the only living prophet on the earth today. I know President Monson is a man of God because I know that my Heavenly Father loves me, and He would not leave me to go through this world without His prophet on the earth guiding me in the way that my Father in Heaven would have His children guided. I know that Joseph Smith saw God, and that he translated the Book of Mormon, which is another testament of Christ. I love my Savior, and I am proud to be a member of His church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by following my Savior's example and following the teachings of the living prophet. I study the Book of Mormon and the Bible daily and pray to my Father in Heaven daily, and anytime I just need to talk. I love Jesus Christ, and I show that love by following in His example. I strive to love, just as He did. I am ever changing, trying to be better, and exercise the Atonement in my life daily. Repentance is a beautiful gift that I partake of daily. I am dedicating the next 18 months serving the beautiful people in North Dakota, and I love every minute of it. There is no greater happiness than by living the gospel of Jesus Christ.
