Hi I'm kiko

I grew up in BC in canada. I am a convert of five years. Used to be totally against religion. but nowI'm a mormon 8)

About Me

i used to be in a rock band but dont really like the environment so i quit that. I love to play guitar and to still shred and play other stuff like classical spanish blues and other stuff. i love nutrition and keeping a healthy body and especially a healthy mind. I love to be enthusiastic and to help others feel the same, of which i have learned from becoming LDS or "mormon". I owe all my strength joy and purpose to the Lord, I am so glad that i have my religion:)

Why I am a Mormon

its a bit of a story... i'll have to come back to it. i was against organized religion, i prayed for strength in a trial one night. The Lord answered my prayer, i met a member of the church. The same power i felt previous in my life i felt when i read the book of mormon, and thats how i know its true. it has power from God that comes nowhere else except through righteous action, service, prayer etc. but is far more abundant through reading the pages of the book of mormon and abiding by the teachings of Christ therein than by any other book. the promise of Joseph smith is true when he said that we would get nearer to God by abiding by its precepts than by any other book. Its true, the Holy Ghost as my witness i am a mormon not only because its true, but because it has the power to comfort and give hope through any trial in life, any hard time no matter how dark or dreary life may become. i am a mormon because i love my God and Jesus Christ who have restored their teachings and church to the world. The Lord God has made it known to me and to any who will ask him with a willingness to follow the teachings of Christ and his Holy prophets! those who sincerely wish to be blessed by the great healing power of Christ to forgive our sins and help us become good people! i love being a mormon because by being a mormon i am able to follow in the footsteps of Jesus Christ with such clarity and confidence and feel all the wonderful goodness that comes from trying to be more like Him

How I live my faith

i am a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints right now. teaching those who wish to know the essentials of the church organization that they might know how to choose for themselves after having the correct knowledge that comes from study and prayer.
