Hi I'm Laura Lee Judd

I'm a blond hair, blue eyed Utah girl. I am leaving to serve a mission in Paris, France for 18 months. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the fifth of six children, and I am so blessed to have been able to grow up with the Gospel in my life. I am extremely close with my brothers and sisters, and our favorite things to do together are to play games and attend sporting events. I played basketball and volleyball in high school, and I also sang in choirs, participated in student government, and learned digital and film photography. For the past year and a half, I have been attending Brigham Young University and am majoring in Early Childhood Education. My dreams are to someday teach Kindergarten, get married, and to raise my children in the covenant of the Gospel. But for now, I am so blessed to be able to depart and serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ in the France Paris Mission. I am grateful for the opportunity I will have to serve the Lord in this capacity and to serve those who I will come into contact with in France.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true Gospel of Jesus Christ restored here on earth. I have read the Book of Mormon and prayed to know that it is true. I have listened to the words of the living prophet, Thomas S. Monson, and have received a witness that he is the mouthpiece of the Lord here upon the earth. I know, because of the good feelings I have, that this is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and it brings me joy. I am so grateful for the blessings of the Gospel in my life, and I am grateful for the opportunity I have to serve a mission and to help others find the happiness that comes from living the Gospel.

How I live my faith

I am trying to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the best of my ability, and the best way I know I can live my faith now is by serving a mission. I have been blessed to have the Gospel throughout my life, and I want others to be recipients of these blessings as well. I know that spreading the Gospel throughout the world is what Christ did during his life, and I hope others will be able to feel His love as I help spread His word.
