Hi I'm Tim

I was born in Los Angeles, CA and raised in the S.F. Bay Area. I recently graduated from BYU-Idaho. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I currently reside in the East Bay (San Francisco Bay Area) after recently graduating from BYU-Idaho with a degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Marketing. My day to day activities right now largely consists of job hunting. I really enjoy working out and striving everyday to become more physically fit. Everyone once in a while I still have fun playing backyard football and playing baseball at local neighborhood baseball diamond. Also, I really enjoy wake boarding and water skiing whenever I get the chance. I absolutely love the outdoors hiking the trails in Yosemite National Park and walking on California beaches whenever I get the chance because it gives me a great opportunity to reflect on my life and enjoy the beauty of God's creations. On the flip side I also really enjoy being a tourist and exploring new locations in big cities because every time I look up at skyscrapers I am in awe of the knowledge that Heavenly Father gave his children to be able to build such magnificent structures. Lastly, I am currently single hoping that someday I will be lucky enough to be married in a LDS temple with a beautiful daughter of our Heavenly Father and eventually have a family of my own. I look forward to this wonderful possibility every single day of my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Everyday I wonder why my Heavenly Father allowed me to be born into a LDS family. What truly a blessing it is and I thank my Father in Heaven everyday for it. However, because I was born into a family of members of the LDS church there came I time in my life that I had to decide for myself whether or not I wanted to live my life within the teachings of the LDS church. It was through many experiences I had on my mission in New York City that helped strengthen and grow my testimony I have of the gospel of Jesus Christ. My mission is something that I consider myself forever in dept with my Heavenly Father. This does not mean however that my life is perfect. I have trials and temptations that I face everyday and I just like everyone else still make mistakes but it is my hope that through my experiences on my mission, reading the scriptures, my prayers, and temple attendance I can withstand the temptations I have everyday and overcome the trials that I face.

How I live my faith

One of the many subjects taught in the LDS church that I absolutely love is the opportunity we all have as Heavenly Father's children is the opportunity to serve others. I had an unforgettable opportunity to this for 2 of the most amazing years of my life as a spanish speaking missionary for the LDS church in Manhattan and The Bronx. To share my beliefs and happiness with those not of my faith attempting to learn a foreign language was not easy, but the more I practiced and listened to others the more confident I became in myself. To say that my opportunity I had to serve the people of New York City as a LDS missionary was a blessing and a privilege would definitely be an understatement and an experience that has benefitted me for the remainder of my life and one that I will never forget. It is also a wonderful opportunity to serve others who are also mormon. Everyone of Heavenly Father's children has their own issues and trials that need to be overcome in order to grow and progress in this life including myself, and because of that it is so nice to know that there many members of the church who care for my well being and that I reach out and extend a helping hand or words of comfort to people I consider friends myself.
