Hi I'm Katie Alice

I grew up in Utah. I love to play soccer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Katie. I'm a firery red head who loves to have a good laugh, and play. I love to listen to music and play the piano. I also love to play sports, especially soccer. I love to hangout with my friends, and just do random stuff to have fun. I also love to hangout with my whole family. It's especially great when my sister and brother come home and they get each other laughing. I love my life.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon. Well that is simple. I am a Mormon because I believe in the things that are taught in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know them to be true, and from God. I am a Mormon because I have read time and time again the Book of Mormon, and I know that it truly is another testament of Jesus Christ. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, and translated the Book of Mormon. I am a Mormon because I know that President Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of God today. I know these things to be true. I have studied and and prayed for myself to know that these things are true. I find that when I live the principles of the Mormon church, my life runs smoother, and I am an over all happier person. Most of all, I am a Mormon because Jesus Christ is the center of our church. Everything we do revolves around Him, and His teachings. "And we talk of Christ, we rejoice in Christ, we preach of Christ, we prophesy of Christ..." -2 Nephi 25:26 I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior, and my Redeemer. I know He died for my sins and my sorrows so that I can repent of those sins and overcome those sorrows through Him. I know that He lives and that we will one day live with Him as well.

How I live my faith

I am currently serving a full time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Latvia. I have the opportunity to bear Christs name, teach His gospel, and help others come unto Him. I try my best to be an example of Him at all times, but I'm not perfect. Luckily, I do not have to be perfect. By applying His atonement to my life, I have the opportunity to be forgiven of my mistakes. I am so very thankful for Him, and for His willingness and love, to die for us all.
