Hi I'm Connor

I was born and raised in Utah valley. I'm an Engineering Student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Provo Utah and raised in Salem. I'm the second youngest child, with a younger sister and four older brothers. I enjoy playing sports, and love to swim competitively. I'm an engineering student at Utah State University, and recently got a mission call to serve in the Cape Verde, Praia mission!

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are both Mormons, but the reason I am is because I've prayed for myself and received a personal witness that the church is true. The church answers so many questions, and helps make life make more sense. There is a powerful spirit of truth that can be felt in the church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in everything that I do. I attend church weekly, as well as church activities as often as I can. I've held many callings in the church, like quorum president, counselor, secretary, and ward missionary. I'm currently called to serve a full time mission in Africa.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

Connor
The law of tithing asks that we give up 10 percent of our income to the Lord. Since everything we have comes from the Lord anyway, giving ten percent back to help the church is very little for him to ask. There are many blessings we can receive when we pay tithing, including financial blessings, and others. Show more Show less
