Hi I'm Tyson K. Thompson

I grew up in Wyoming, I have received my Eagle Scout award, I'm a family guy, But most importantly I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 20 years old, I'm currently on my mission in the Alaska Anchorage Mission, paint balling, video games, and being with my family are favorites hobbies of mine, I'm interested in politics, economics, and history. I've gotten a year of college done and I am working towards my associates degree in general education.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon partly because I was born into it, my family members including distant relatives and ancestors are also Mormons. But as for my own testimony I know the church is true, because I've gained my own witness of the Book of Mormon by my study of it and especially because of the spiritual witness I received of its truthfulness. I know the prophet is called of God and I believe in our Savior even Jesus Christ that he Atoned for all our sins, and that he loves us all, and that as we try to apply the Atonement and as we try to follow our Savior I know well be able to return to live with our Father in Heaven once again.

How I live my faith

How I try to apply my faith has become a lot easier since becoming a missionary, every day I try to practice the Lord's gospel and do so by trying to share it with others, my understanding of the doctrine of Christ has been greatly enhanced as well from my personal studies I have every morning. I have learned that the only way to strengthen my faith and to develop it is by study, prayer, and by sharing my testimony/beliefs. Faith is like a muscle we must use or it will weaken its really that simple.
