Hi I'm Hadyn

I have grown up in Utah. I, like everyone else has been through sad and happy times, But I am happy. I, am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 20 years old, and I will be leaving my home to serve a full time LDS mission on January 16th, 2013. I couldn't be more excited! I get to go teach others about this wonderful gospel and ALL of the good it has done in my life! I want to share why I am so happy to others around me! Like everyone else I have had a life of a roller coaster, many up's and down's, super exciting yet scary and sad as well. When I was 8 I was ran over by a boat, they said I wouldn't be able to ever walk normal again, but I have won many gymnastics competitions, along with races and playing evey other sport. It is all thanks to the prayers of the family and friends that I have. Years latter I herniated the lower disks in my back, it still hurts but I keep going! My wonderful loving father died from a sudden heart attack, Left my mom, 2 younger brothers, 3 older sisters and grandkids behind. We miss him SO Much! Because of the knowledge I have from this beautiful gospel I know we have a FOREVER family! I will be with him again someday, I have had many other trials but many More learning experiences, This gospel provides me with more CANS than CANT'S. And I am happy!

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in a mormon family, when I was 8 years old I was baptized, and I have loved growing up In the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Ever since I was little I have been taught that I make my own choices, and I have my whole life, no one forced me to be baptized, I made that choice all by myself!! I knew that if I followed Christs example i would be blessed. I have been blessed. Everyday day of my life, every night before bed I just cant help but know evrything that happened that day (good or bad), every person I met that day, was put into my life for a reason! I love the understanding I have that My Heavenly Father has a plan for me. All I need to do is follow him. We have a living Prophet in this world today that gives us advice, he gives us revelation and shares the inspiration that he recieves. He warns us, and when I listen to him, I feel Gods love for me beacause he does care, he wants the best for each and everyone of us. He has given us a prophet so we can hear his counsel and follow him better! We are all Family, brothers and sisters to one another. I love being with my loved ones. My dad passed away in june of 2009 from a sudden heart attack. I never thought I would loose my Dad...he was my best friend. This Gospel has taught me that death isn't the end, I can be with My family FOREVER!! I wouldn't have it any other way, People think Mormons "cant" do a lot, But i believe we have More Cans than Cants. We have the truth!! I wouldn't know that unless I hadnt have read the Book of Mormon, and prayed about it. The blessings that are promised in it are true if we continue to just Follow Christ. I am a Mormon because I want to be. I am a Mormon because I have prayed to know this Gospel is true!! I am a Mormon because being a Mormon makes me happy and I wouldn't want to live any other way. This is why I am alive today, and why I want to share my happiness with you. Because it is true. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

Everyday is a new day, I never know what to expect, what I do know is, is that I have a choice to start it off bad or Good. I am who decides if I am sad or Happy. Even when life is hard I get the choice to grow and become strong. I Choose who I want to be EVERYDAY! Throughout the years I have been blessed to have quite a few church callings. Whats neat is that each calling I have had has all related to being a teacher in one form or another. The past 3 years I have been called as a sunday shool teacher, so throughout the week I set aside time to plan and prepare about a 45 minute to about and hourish lesson. During this time that I plan and especially during the time I teach, is the time when I feel I am exercising my faith the most...Because I am preparing to teach people who are just like me, they are just a little younger or older than me, they have questions and they are looking to me for answers. As I have been a sunday school teacher, I have had the wonderful blessing of making lots of new friends! The more friends I make the more people I see throughout the week, the more I feel like I am being watched and the more I have found the saying "You teach the most by your example" has become true. Every day is another test of Faith, this beautiful Gospel is the key to my happiness, I know it, I love it, I live it! This Gospel is why I live.
