Hi I'm Marissa!

I'm studying Neuroscience at BYU. I've been called to the Ukraine Donetsk mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints! I'm serving in the Ukraine Donets'k mission speaking Russian. Even as a missionary, I still love to have fun and be a goofball. But my purpose being here in to invite others to come unto Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the Church. As a teenager, I learned I had to develop my own testimony instead of leaning on my parents' testimonies. I didn't have an extraordinary story, but I did what God requires of us. With faith and desire, I was able to receive my own testimony. Even throughout, I faced trials that really tested my faith. But with that faith, I've been able to trust in God and discover that He does provide in His own way. I know this is true. I continue to do those things that helped me develop my own testimony every day so my faith never withers. I continually nourish my spirit with the word of God and heartfelt prayer to Him. I do this because He asks this of me, and I will do all I can to seek His will.

How I live my faith

Each day in personal study, I study a trait I would like to work on. I know that by seeking to understand Christlike attributes, the Lord will bless me in these righteous desires. By being on a mission, I show my Heavenly Father that I have faith that this is where I need to be at this time.
