Hi I'm Tohikoula

I grew up in West Valley, Utah. I am serving a mission in california. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports, especially football. I have attended college for a semester and am now serving an LDS mission.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are members of His church. I was raised in it and was taught its truths by my parents and leaders. I know for myself that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true church on the earth today, but I have not always been so sure. When I was younger, I did what I was told and relied on the testimony of my parents, never really knowing the truth for myself. When I turned 16, however, thoughts of serving a mission came to mind. How could I teach others of the truth of His gospel when I did not know? At the time, this was not my major concern though. I was all about football. My senior year, however, I broke my neck and my "jock lifestyle" was quickly changed. I realized that sports weren't everything. I turned to the scriptures and prayer for guidance. One night, I read in the Book of Mormon 3 Nephi 5:13. I had a feeling of comfort and joy come over my whole body. I knew the Book of Mormon was true, and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the only true Church. I knew that I must serve a mission, and share the message of joy and happiness that His gospel brings.

How I live my faith

I am an active member in my ward. I have had several leadership callings in the ward and I have loved each one of them.
