Hi I'm Joshua Feigleson

I grew up in Kaysville Utah, I am serving a mission in Taiwan.

About Me

I am about to embark on my 2 year mission for the church. I have such a testimony of missionary work. 3 of my siblings have already served misssions and I have seen personally the benefits of serving a mission. I am so excited to serve my Heavenly Father and bring the message of Jesus Christ and his restored gospel to the people of Taiwan. Before my mission, I attended Davis High School where I participated in Basketball, Jazz Ensemble, Drama, Track, and many interesting classes. I love playing the piano and writing my own music. My belief is that life is about learning and enjoying. I love trying new things and furthering my knowledge and talents. The gospel of Jesus Christ is central to my life. I love learning about my Savior's plan for me. I love teaching his gospel. The gospel is the greatest gift I could ever ask for and it is my responsibility to share what I know with those who don't. I know because of my dilligence in keeping the commandments and following God's plan I have and will be eternally blessed.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family of members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I followed the teachings of my parents because I loved them but eventually I had to make a decision. I had to determine if this religion was the one God wanted me to be part of. As with any thing I want to find out about, I studied it out. I read the Book of Mormon, lived the teachings of the gospel, learned about the atonement and prayed to God to know if what I was doing was pleasing to him. The impression that this gospel was real and true did not come as an overwhelming and immediate feeling or intense spiritual experience, but as a gradual process. I started to realize the happiness, comfort, and peace this gospel gave me. I felt the Holy Spirit rest down upon me more and more frequently when I studied and served others. I felt peace and contentment for the sins and wrongdoings in my life when I prayed to God for forgiveness. I testify to you that God loves you. He wants you to return to him just like all of his children. He sent his son Jesus Christ to this world to experience mortal life and ultimately perform the Atonement. God appeared personally with his son Jesus Christ to Joseph Smith, and just as he called prophets of old, He called Joseph Smith as a prophet to restore the same gospel that Jesus Christ brought to the earth. He revealed the Book of Mormon to Joseph Smith. I have read the Book of Mormon and have had the witness of the Holy Spirit rest down upon me and testify of its truth. The reason I know these things are true is because I asked heavenly father and worked to study, understand, and live them. After I did these things, I felt through the witnesses of the Spirit numerous times that these are the teachings of Jesus Christ and are pleasing in God's eyes. It is the only way to return to Him. I would challenge you to do the same. Work to study, understand, and live Christ's teachings and I testify to you that you will also know as I do.

How I live my faith

Because I know Christ is my Savior, it is my responsibility to live my life in a way that is pleasing to him. I choose to live a life that follows the teachings of Jesus Christ. Because I love him, I am obedient to his teachings. I am forever grateful for his atonement and because He did what he did, I choose to follow him. The word that best describes my intentions is "Disciple." One of my favorite quotes goes like this "Live your life in a way so those who know you but don't know Him, will want to know Him because they know you." This is the motto for my life. Because of this, I chose to serve a mission for two-years. I will bring the message of the restored gospel to those who do not know their older brother who died for them that they may be saved and return to their Heavenly Father. Before my mission I taught the gospel to others of my faith. I also oversaw the 16, 17, and 18 year old young men in my neighborhood. I would teach and organize activities for them.
