Hi I'm Kim

I was born to draw. I love dinosaurs. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am an art student, and I'm a mormon. I will be leaving school for a year and a half to serve a mission; I am excited to come back and continue learning about art and practicing Ju-Jitsu. I also enjoy reading blogs about positivity and drawing caricatures of people. I am a very average person, and sometimes I feel lost in this big world of artists who seem ever-better than I am. But, I avoid getting caught up in it all because Jesus loves me and has a big plan for me!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because Jesus gives me guidance in my life. Jesus is my source of validation; I don't need to rely on what the world or others around me think of me. my Mom and Dad are very righteous and loving. they are also Mormon, and they brought us to church as kids. I guess that's how I got my start with being a Mormon. But since then, I have come to know for myself that Jesus lives, and that he guides the Church today through our Prophet Thomas S. Monson. I have come to know for myself that the Book of Mormon is true, and I need it daily. I know that Joseph Smith really saw what he said he saw; he did so much to bless mankind, and he is truly a servant of the Lord. I also know that Jesus loves me, and that He loves you. He died for you so you can be free from sin and guilt if you just repent and let him in. I came to know all of this by reading my scriptures every day and praying about them, by going to church and seminary, and by following the counsel of the prophets.

How I live my faith

I go to the temple as often as I can. Not only is it beautiful, but I always get guidance for my life whenever I go.

What is being a Mormon like?

Being a Mormon is wonderful. It means to know that I am a "small and simple thing," very insignificant to the world, yet I matter to somebody; I matter to the creator of heaven and Earth. He knows my name, and He loves me! Show more Show less
