Hi I'm Cole

I'll be a missionary in Japan from Jan 2013 until Jan 2015.

About Me

I love rugby. I started playing in high school. And then I stopped playing when I graduated. But after my mission, I want to play in college. The only problem is that I am not very good. Everyone pray that I grow a foot taller and get super buff. Another thing I love is Japan. I am serving in Japan as a full time representative of Jesus Christ. Pressures on! Why am I here? I haven't always known this gospel was true. Likewise, I haven't always had a testimony that Jesus Christ was my Savior. But my testimony has grown from a seed into a tree. And it has brought forth mangoes. And they are so good. So i know the seed is good! Our Father loves us so much, and He wants us to be happy. It stands to reason that He won't lead us astray. He has told me in my heart that this is the truth. And so now that I know its true, I have an obligation and a drive to share it with my homies in Japan!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I have come to know that this gospel is the true gospel of Jesus Christ. I have a testimony of that. I love my Savior and I am trying to follow the path he has laid out for me.

How I live my faith

I think that the one of the most important things we can do is to love people. I love the quote by President Monson, "Never let a problem to be solved become more important than a person to be loved." Its hard to remember what matters most when we are in the middle of a crisis or even just rushing through our hectic schedules but what matters most is loving the people around you. When Christ was on the Earth, He wasn't always in a hurry. He showed his love to everyone and I think that is what He wants us to do. I am not perfect. I don't always love people like they deserve to be loved. I have a long way to go, a lot more to work on than a lot of others, but I know that through Jesus Christ, I can become better.
