Hi I'm Mark Garcia

I'm an Off-Road enthusiast, I developed a passion for running, I look forward to the future, and i'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 23 years old, I was preparing to go on a mission! And now I am serving a mission! It took me 5 years to realize this is what I want to do! I'm ready to be a Missionary, to teach the gospel and see the joy in the people I will serve. I love being active and be engaged in sports or exercise. I love outdoors, because we can experience the perfection in nature that God created for us.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love everything that the church stands for! I believe being a Mormon is one of the best decision I ever made. I was baptized at 8yrs of age but I didnt really fully understand the gospel. It wasnt until earlier in 2012 when I realized the gospel is beautiful. My bishop gave me an assignment to talk on Mothers Day on "The most important gospel principle that my mother has taught me." It was a this point in my life, when I diligently read in The Book of Mormon, Prayed sincerely to find answers as to what was the most important gospel principle. After a week of searching and asking, I realized that "Faith" was the most important principle that my Mother taught me! The gospel changed my life! I promise to all those of you who are searching, loose yourself in the scriptures, and in prayer because if you do, again I promise, you will feel the infinite love, the care that our father in heaven and our older brother Jesus Christ has for you! It will feel like a blanket being thrown over you! The reality of our savior Jesus Christ will hit you like never before....you will only go forward from that point on!

How I live my faith

My life is pretty normal. I do have certain callings in the church. I am the ysa rep and a home teacher. I believe that having callings in the church is a privilege. I believe this because I have seen, realized, and recognized the capacity to magnify my callings and grow spiritually and be closer to our father in Heaven. I am in constant communication with Heavenly Father, i know he truly hears and answers my prayers. I know that embracing the gospel and having my faith grow and grow, I will be able to be more Christ like. I also know that everything has a purpose in life! Nothing is by accident or luck.
