Hi I'm Brayden

I grew up in Utah. I love the Mormon church and want nothing more then to share the message to everyone I can.

About Me

I love sports, especially wrestling. I wrestled all through high school and learned a ton from my experiences in the sport. I'm a very motivated and goal oriented person, a lot of that is due to wrestling. I also have a lot of other hobbies such as motocross, wakeboarding, and snowmobiling. I also really enjoy hunting and fishing. I have a strong belief in hard work. Every since I was 12 I have had the opportunity to work for my dad's landscaping company, and it has taught me that if you want something in this life, you have to put in the work. I have grown up in the Mormon church so that has also had a huge part to play in shaping the person I have become. I am currently preparing for an LDS mission and I'm very excited to go.

Why I am a Mormon

I haven't had one certain experience that I can say is my rock solid reason for being a part of the Mormon Church, or The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. But throughout my childhood and teenage years, I have had the opportunity to learn about Jesus Christ's love for me. I guess you could say Jesus Christ is the foundation of my testimony. I love him, and he loves me. He has done more than any person could do for me, he suffered and died so that I could be forgiven for any wrong things I do and return back to my Father in Heaven when i die. The only way I can explain the assurance I have that this church is true, is the warm and burning feeling I get when I participate in church related functions and other things relating to my Savior. This feeling isn't like the feeling you get after a good workout, it can't match the butterflies in your stomach when you drop on a roller coaster. It is such a calming feeling, but at the same time so intense, I could never think to deny it. As I have grown up, I have found that it's important to have Christ somewhere in my thoughts every day. I would be lying if I said I have never had my doubts about this church. But if I ever do, I go and read the Book of Mormon, pray to my Heavenly Father, or do something involving Christ, and I am quickly reassured by the feeling of the Holy Ghost, that this church is true. The Prophet speaks the truth, the Book of Mormon is true and another testament of Jesus Christ. Without this church I would not be the same person, it has taught me unwavering honestly and integrity, virtue, obedience, and dedication to something that I believe so strongly in. I thank God for this wonderful gift of the true church on the earth during my lifetime, and say so in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I am currently a home-teacher with my dad and we go and visit three families a month just to check up on them and see how they are doing. I also teach nine year old children in the primary during and I love it! I am also preparing for a mission and I will be leaving very soon.
