Hi I'm Linda

I love the great outdoors, I've hiked the Teton Crest Trail, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a student at Brigham Young University of Idaho studying Healthcare Administration. I enjoy the outdoors by camping, horseback riding, water skiing, and hiking. My favorite memories always involve my family and I love spending time with them. I enjoy making people laugh regardless if it's with me or at me. I like a good adventure and I love traveling. My most recent adventure took me all across Europe. I am currently learning Spanish and hope one day to be fluent.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon simply because I know it's true. I know that the church Christ set up with His disciples when He walked on earth is the same church I belong to, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know Heavenly Father is my literal father. He knows me as an individual and loves me deeply. I can communicate with Him through the power of prayer, and I know He hears and answers them. I am thankful that a prophet of God is here on the earth today whose role is the same as the prophets in the Old Testament. I know that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and that he found and translated the Book of Mormon, which is another testament of Jesus Christ; I know the words in that book are true. I am thankful for the knowledge of the plan of salvation and the fact that I know that I will be able to see my loved ones after death. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ because I know it to be true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith every day by following in the footsteps of Jesus Christ and keeping God's commandments. I have observed that when I actively try to emulate the principles the Savior taught I grow closer to God. When I actively seek ways to serve and love my neighbor, I have noticed that I am blessed with patience, gratitude, and a genuine love for those I serve. I know as I seek to follow Christ I will draw closer to my Heavenly Father and one day will be able to return to His presence.
