Hi I'm Hannah

I will be serving as a missionary in Independence Missouri at the visitors center, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Arizona, and I am still not used to the heat. I am part of an amazing family, and a great big, and equally awesome, extended family who I love dearly.I graduated high school in 2011, and have been working at a bakery for the past year. I'm a total bookworm and will practically devour a good book. I have recently received a mission call to serve for 18 months in Independence Missouri, and will have the pleasure of serving in the visitors center there. I am so excited! I cannot wait to share the Gospel and my testimony with the wonderful people of Independence.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, so I have been surrounded by it all my life. Though I feel that I have always, to some degree, knew that this was Christs restored church, I always had doubts playing in my mind. But the thing is, everybody is a convert. there is a quote that says, " This is a gospel of grand expectations, but Gods grace is sufficient for each of us if we remember that there are no instant Christians." Whether they were born in the church, or joined later in their life everybody has their own conversion process. I had my own conversion starting around the time that I turned 17. I had questions, doubts, and some problems with temptation, just like eveybody else. It was a tough time in my life. But through those tough times I learned to lean on my Savior, Jesus Christ. He helped me through it. Because of this I grew to know him, and learned that he has always known me, and that he always has his arms open for me. From that time forward, my testimony of him, and the gospel has only grown. I know my Savior atoned for my sins. I know that he restored his true church through his amazing prophet Joseph Smith. I know that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ, and goes hand in hand with the bible. I know that with out this knowledge, I would be lost. if someone were to ask me what keeps me going, what keeps me happy, I would tell them it is this knowledge. I cannot wait to go on my mission and serve and teach about the things that I have learned. To know that I can help someone understand and feel this incredible happiness that I have found, makes me more determined than ever to go out and share it. Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ love the people of this earth more than anyone can possibly understand. I know how important it is to them to make sure everyone knows that there is a way to know them and return to them someday. This is Christs church, I know it, I live it, I love it.

How I live my faith

I have been teaching a Sunday school class of about 8, eleven year olds. They are a very rowdy bunch, but I feel so blessed to be their teacher. They are such am amazing group of kids! I ultimately, live my faith by striving my best to be Christ-like. He is the ultimate example to me.
