Hi I'm Shea

I am a research assistant studying microbiology. I love playing sports and spending time with family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I absolutely love my family and spending time with them, especially as I started college. I love listening too and playing all different types of music. Playing sports with friends is probably one of my favorite things to do. I'm just a regular college student trying to survive and somehow maintain some level of a social life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read and prayed about what the church teaches and I have received my own witness that it is true time and time again. That's what I love about the gospel of Jesus Christ; you don't have to take anyone else's word for it. You can independently learn if it's real and something that you believe. I love being a Mormon because as I live the gospel I am constantly reminded of the love that God has for me and all those around me. Knowing and feeling the love of God gives me confidence in my life and helps me to love others and not judge them. I am so grateful for the infinite patience and mercy of God and my Savior Jesus Christ! The gospel of Jesus Christ taught by the Mormon church is life-changing and brings pure happiness to our lives. I am so happy that I received my own witness of the truthfulness and reality of the gospel of Christ and of the church that teaches this gospel in it's entirety. Living the teachings of Jesus Christ allows me to have hope and peace even in the darkest parts of my life.

How I live my faith

I attended our 3 hour meeting on a weekly basis as well as my own personal study of the scriptures during the week. I have had the opportunity to teach classes that were part of our church service. The class that I taught contained other girls around my same age. I also enjoyed visiting with a few girls and assisting them with anything that they needed help with.
