Hi I'm Anna

I grew up in Utah and California. I go to BYU-Idaho. I'm going to serve a mission in Chile Santiago East. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I like to cook and I like to make things on a pottery wheel. I also like to write poetry. I'm a Sophomore at Brigham Young University-Idaho and I am studying Early Childhood/ Special Education.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but that is not the reason that I continue to be active. I am a Mormon because I know that God wants me to be a part of His church. I have felt His influence in my life and I know that He is real. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me more than I can imagine. I know that they care about me and they care about what I do with my life. I know that Jesus Christ suffered and died to pay the price for my sins. He did so much for me and I want to do all that I can for Him. I feel that I can serve the Lord best by supporting His church, by loving and serving others, and by sharing the message of what He did for us. I am a Mormon because I want to return to live with my Heavenly Father again.

How I live my faith

I was the first counselor in the Relief Society Presidency when I was in Idaho for school. I have had the opportunity to be a visiting teacher and I have loved it every time. All of the callings that I have had have given me the opportunity to get to know other people and find ways to love and serve them. Each calling I've had has strengthened my faith.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Families are important to us because we believe that we can be together forever. Families are also important to us because we believe they are the setting for much personal growth and learning. Also families are just awesome! Show more Show less
