Hi I'm Jason Robinson

I am originally from Madison, FL. My wife and I currently live in Ocklawaha, FL with two of our eight children.

About Me

I am 37 years old. I am a husband, father, and bank branch manager. My life is busy, and full of challenges. Some challenges self inflicted and others a gift of life. The Gospel of Jesus Christ brings peace, balance, and happiness to my life. I grew up playing sports, and spending as much time as possible outdoors, fishing, hunting, etc. I still enjoy the same things but I have found that I have the most fun in life when I am with my wife and children doing whatever the event of the day might be. Sometimes it is playing. Sometimes it can even be a chore.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe that there is a purpose to this life. When I see the world and the universe we live in, it inspires me to seek for reason and purpose. Do we just live and die without meaning? Many people have a desire to find out answers to life's tough questions such as: Why do we go through bad times? What makes a person happy? Why do people suffer? Why is life not fare to everyone? I believe that we wonder these things for a purpose. We have a God given gift of a natural desire within each of us to find TRUTH. Truth is liberating and sets us free. It unlocks the doors to the mysteries of life. I choose to be a member of this church not because it is easy, but because God has given us a sure way to find out truth independent of human or worldly influence. We can find out truth by communicating with him directly. The Bible tells us of the job of the Holy Ghost in John14:26 and John 15:26. He is a teacher, comforter, and testifier of Christ. In Galatians 5:22-23 it speaks of the fruit of the spirit and the feelings that you will feel as the spirit teaches you and testifies to you about the teachings of Christ. In James 1:5 it says that if we lack wisdom to ask God. It is my testimony that anyone who will have an open heart in their quest to find truth, study the scriptures, and pray to God in humble and reverent prayer, that a Loving Father in Heaven will answer their prayer through promptings and feelings of the Holy Ghost. Through my study of the King James Version of The Holy Bible( a testament of Jesus Christ/stick of Judah) and The Book of Mormon(another testament of Jesus Christ/stick of Joseph) and by kneeling in prayer I have felt the fruit of the spirit in my life. I know that God loves me and I am here on this earth for a purpose. I am here to learn right from wrong and to choose the right over wrong. To choose good over evil. God loves all of us. He loves you and wants you to seek the truth so that He may bless you with knowledge and power.

How I live my faith

At church I have been given responsibility to organize and instruct a group of men. In turn the men/brothers, including myself, are charged with looking after the families of our congregation. We also look to serve those who are not of our faith in any way possible, as we are all our Heavenly Father's children. We volunteer our time for this service without pay. While I do not push my beliefs on anyone I do seek opportunities to share with anyone who is interested. I try to live my faith everyday by watching my language and using words that I would not be ashamed of, by being positive, and keeping the commandments. I live my faith by repenting when I make mistakes.

Are Mormons Christians?

Jason Robinson
Every thing we believe is with Christ at the center. It is because of His atonement for my sins that I am grateful for the gift of repentance and salvation. There is no other way to return to our Father in Heaven's presence than to accept Christ's atonement. Show more Show less
