Hi I'm Brandi

I love basketball, running, and spending time with my family and friends. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I recently just finished my freshman year of college to become a Pediatric Nurse. I enjoy running, snowboarding, basketball, and all outdoor activities. I love to be around my family! I have three siblings, two sisters and one brother and they are my best friends. I love to help my mom with house work and I love to help my dad on our ranch! I am currently serving as a Sister Missionary in the New York Utica Mission and love every minute of it!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon my whole life. The LDS church is the only church I have ever been to, but I know this is the true church. I don't know where I would be without the teachings of this gospel. I know the power of prayer is real and that our Father in Heaven is there to hear and answer our prayers. I know that the Atonement is real and is very powerful. When you feel like all hope is lost, it isn't. Our Father in Heaven sent his only son to die for us so that we may be forgiven of our sins. Our Father in Heaven wants nothing more that for us to be able to return home to Him. It is our duty to strive our best and use the Atonement so that we can come closer to Him. He loves each of us and wants us to succeed in all that we do.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by trusting in Heavenly Fathers timing. I know that as we have faith in Jesus Christ and trust in our Heavenly Fathers perfect love for us, we will be able to accomplish all that He wants us to accomplish and we will be able to accept whatever may happen in this life. I also try to show my faith by serving and helping others in need. As we serve others we will forget ourselves and find more happiness in this life and will be able to lift others and make their burdens lighter.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Brandi
A testimony is what we know to be true. It is our foundation and what we lean on when times get tough or if we have doubt. My testimony didn't just come in one day or week, it has come throughout my life through trial and faith. I have gained my testimony through the witness of the Holy Ghost. I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church. I know that the atonement is real and it is powerful. I know the power of prayer is real and our Father in heaven is every ready to answer our prayers and to help us. I know that the living prophet, Thomas S. Monson, is the true prophet.
