Hi I'm Steven

I grew up in Beaverton, Oregon. I'm leaving to serve a mission in Italy! I'm a Mormon

About Me

I wrestled in high school, as well as sung in choir and participated in musical theater. After that I worked for a year and a half doing odd jobs through the winter, and road construction during the summer, so i could save enough to go on a mission!

Why I am a Mormon

I have been blessed to to have grown up in the church. I have been given an amazing family all of whom have a strong testimony of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have therefore known that the church was true from a very young age. I remember my the first time I KNEW the church was true, was after i had gotten baptized at age eight. I was sitting at the dinner table, discussing the feeling i had when when i got baptized, to my parents. Saying how i wished i could have the same feeling now, as i did the day I got baptized. Almost immediately I felt that feeling again. That feeling of peace, happiness, and truth. I felt the spirit. I have since seen how living the gospel has helped me in my life. It has helped me to reach my full potential as a brother, a son, and a friend! I know the church is true, I not only see blessings of living the gospel in my life, but also in the lives of those around me.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday! I use to teach the youth of my ward lessons about Jesus and his work here on earth. I then moved to a different ward and I have been called as a ward missionary with one of my good friends. On Wednesday nights we get together and hold meetings with our fellow ward missionary's and then go out together and try to contact less active members of the ward, to see what we can to for them and to encourage them to come to church.
