Hi I'm Tara Lambert

I grew up in Sherwood Park, Alberta. I am a teacher, a shop owner and a mother and grandmother. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I married young and had three children by the time I was 23. I loved being a mom and learning how to be a homemaker, however I had always wanted to go to University. I became a student and graduated with a teaching degree two months before my fifth child was born. I am so glad I worked hard to get my education and realize the value of it in my home and teaching the youth of the church.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and know that the restoration of His Gospel complete with the ordinances necessary for salvation are found in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. I love to read the Book of Mormon as well as the Bible and find the truths that are there. I am so grateful for Prophets in these last days who communicate with our Heavenly Father and reveal principles that if followed do bring us lasting happiness and peace. Being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints is central to the joy we feel as a family.

How I live my faith

I have had various callings in the different places we have lived and with each responsibility comes learning opportunities not only because of the specific duties of that call but also because of my association with different people. Most of my callings have been related to teaching youth whether it be early morning seminary or Sunday School. Recently I have been given the new opportunity to work with the Stake Primary which is helping the local wards with the Children's program. I am so happy to be working with the little children and helping them to really know and understand that they are "A Child Of God" who loves them and wants them to be happy as they follow Jesus Christ's example.
