Hi I'm Sister Danielle Nicole Calder

I'm from San Diego California, I'm a full-time Missionary in Boston, Massachusetts, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 20 years old. I was born and raised in southern California. I was blessed with faithful parents who raised me in the truths of the gospel. I have two beautiful sisters, one older and one younger. I am an Aunt to a beautiful little girl, Elliana, and a handsome boy, Max. Before my mission, I was a sophomore at Brigham Young University studying Clinical Psychology and Contemporary Dance. I am a vegetarian of three years. One day I hope to open a Private Practice for Clinical Psychology and offer therapy and counseling to families. After my mission, I have goals of becoming an author and traveling. I enjoy having though provoking discussion, challenge myself to grow, and practicing yoga. Along with being a student at BYU, I worked at Vector Marketing. I sold CUTCO Cutlery and managed an office in Orem, Utah. I loved my job and hope to continue with this company after I returning home from my mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints since I was eight years old. I love this church, this gospel, and these people. There is nothing in my life that brings me more joy, peace, or happiness than knowing I am a daughter of God, that my sins can be forgiven, and that I can become like Jesus Christ through the Atonement. I am a Mormon because I believe in the restoration of the Church of Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon because being apart of this gospel brings me more happiness and joy than any other organization, work out plan, or social status. Identifying myself as Christ's follower is the most important thing in my life.

How I live my faith

I am serving a full-time mission in the Massachusetts Boston Mission. More specifically, I am currently serve in the Weston 2nd Ward in the Boston Stake. As a young 13 year old teen I decided to serve a mission. I have been preparing for this stage in my life for quite some time. Being able to serve God full time is a great privilege. I strive to represet Jesus Christ in everything I do and say. As His missionary I will help others draw closer unto Him.

What is the role of the husband and the wife in the family?

Sister Danielle Nicole Calder
Husbands and wives work together to rear their children in love and righteousness. Husbands are primarily responsible for presiding, providing, and protecting their family. Wives are responsible for nurturing their children. They work together as equals. Show more Show less
