Hi I'm Jessalyn

I'm a college student. I sell wedding dresses. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I am a college student studying family life. Whether I use what I learn in my future family or in the community, I strongly believe the family is very important in our society and world! I believe that what goes on in the home can have a grand effect on our future. Apart from studying I work in a bridal shop selling wedding dresses. This is a passion for me! I love meeting women from all walks of life and knowing their stories. More than anything I love to laugh and enjoy life! It's not easy but there is so much in life that inspires laughter and happiness - the greatest of which is the gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it brings me true joy! I have grown up in the church, but eventually every member needs to decide for themselves if this gospel is something that is important to them. For me, the answer is a resounding YES! I can't imagine separating my life and this church - they are one and the same. Everything the church teaches and encourages is to bring people closer to Christ. As I have continued to live this gospel, I have grown closer to my Savior Jesus Christ. That makes me so happy! It also helps me be a better person, and that is something I am always striving for. I am a Mormon because I know that it is true. I know that through this gospel we can experience true joy. What more could I want?!

How I live my faith

I live my faith all the time. I try to constantly emulate Christ's example as I go throughout my days. I could definitely do better, but I try! I always try to treat others with respect. I like to look for small acts of service I can do for others. I like to find the best qualities in others. I try to prioritize my life so that I'm doing things that are most worth my time first and build me up and that will lead me back to Heavenly Father. I especially live my faith by trying to change. Every day I make mistakes, but I allow my faith to help me be better.
