Hi I'm Maria

I grew up all over the U. S. I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to read. I love nature and running. I love studying how the human body works. Music is my constant companion- I am always singing. I am an only daughter with five brothers. I am a student of Brigham Young University, looking into a major in nursing.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church. Over time, through personal study of scriptures and prayer, I have learned the truth of the gospel for myself. Jesus is the Christ, the Savior and Redeemer of the World. This means that He came down to earth and suffered for every sorrow and sin you have ever experienced. He died so that we can live again. If we repent and use His Atonement, we can live with Him and our Heavenly Father (God) again. Families are forever. That means that you can see your dead loved ones again. We believe in eternal marriage. A man and wife, united in marriage in a holy temple, can be together forever. This is God's plan for all members of the human family, that every person can be happy. Because this message is so vital and life-changing, God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith. They told him to restore, or bring back, the full and complete gospel of Jesus Christ. We have the truth. I have the truth. My beliefs bless my life every day.

How I live my faith

Right now I am serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In the past, I have worked with other women to help them feel loved and come to know their Savior. I once was the person that greets everyone who comes into the building. I used to teach three-year olds important lessons like how to pray and how to say "I'm sorry."
