Hi I'm Conner

I'm a Missionary serving in Phoenix Arizona Mission. I know that the family is a huge part of Gods plan, and of course, I'm Mormon

About Me

At the age of 3 my family moved to New England where my mother attended law-school. We lived among people who had severe struggles and yet still continued to put God and others first..giving everything they could even when they had nothing. We then picked up and moved to France where she attended school at the Sorbonne. There my dad taught us kids "not to let school get in the way of our education." We learned from home by attending museums like the Louvre along with many others. My family then chose to move to Maryland where mom worked for the Department of Justice. There I learned again the importance of keeping the Sabbath day holy as my mother instructed. My family moved to 6 different locations since so far. In each I've learned valuable lessons that make me realize I was always where I needed to be. When we finally moved to Texas my brother and I eventually became best friends. He was 15 when he learned how to program mobil apps and got pretty good...so I decided I needed something to do. I began working on cars and by the time I left on my mission, I bought, fixed and sold 30 cars. At 17 I designed and built 2 cars from scratch and before I left on my mission, I planned on building a company off of them. At my mothers wise council, I left it all behind to serve God. In retrospect, I realize now that I made the correct decision to serve but also that God had been there all along to get me where I am today and to teach me the lessons and experiences I've had in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the restoration of the gospel is a necessity for us to return, and that every teaching of the church from the prophets especially, is by divine guidance. A prophet is just as important now as it was at the time of Moses, Noah, and any other biblical prophet.

How I live my faith

As every other missionary around the world, I INVITE people to come unto Christ. Its been my blessing to have trials and failures in this life and I am so grateful for the help Christ gives us in overcoming each with faith. Through this process I've learned that there's nothing we cannot accomplish and that failure is such a fantastic learning step in our lives. As a missionary the importance of the Book of Mormon in Gods plan for us has been exclaimed. Its purpose and role in our lives has been "part of the plan" and has such a huge role in solidifying our testimonies of Christ, the restoration and the bible itself. Without it hundreds of churches can be founded pointing in any direction but with it there is one clear path to take and the blessing that a prophet guides the church, just as times of old, is there as that clear path.
