Hi I'm Kerianne

I'm a student at Utah State, a beach lover, waterfall jumper, over-thinker, adrenaline addict and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently attending college, attending my final semester before I graduate! But, life is hard. I have five siblings, four brothers and one sister. My youngest brother was born with Down's Syndrome, and my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer when I was 12, passing away when I was just 16. There are challenges in this life that seem far beyond our skills and abilities. Through the atonement of Jesus Christ however, we can overcome all and return to live with Him, which brings me the greatest joy. More than anything else though, I know my Savior LIVES.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I love my Savior. I have read the Book of Mormon and prayed about the truthfullness of it. I have prayed about the truthfulness of this church. It is true, and this gospel will bring you happiness. I can testify of that. Our Father in Heaven has once again blessed this earth with the fullness of His gopel and of truth. He loves all of His children and only hopes for the best for us. He loves me, and He loves you. If you doubt that, pray to the Father and He will reassure you of His love. The gospel of Jesus Christ brings me personal happiness and joy as I am able to come closer to my Savior, and I am forever grateful that He has provided me with a way to return to live with Him.

How I live my faith

I read my scriptures and pray daily because it gives me the strength to get through the challenges I encounter in life. I am currently attending a Young Single Adult Ward, made up of other college students and have been asked to organize monday home evening activities that help build friendships and strengthen testimonies of those who attend. We have a spiritual thought as well as an activity, sometimes for fun, others times for service. I strive to live a life that Christ would be proud of, and look for opportunities to serve others and be a friend to those who need one. I strive to be honest in all that I do, and find happiness in daily life. Life may be hard but if you strive to see the positive, you can find joy no matter your circumstances! (:
