Hi I'm Peter Martin Kinder

I love my friends, family, music, a special someone, the temple, and the Gospel of Christ. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am currently a missionary for the Church serving in Los Angeles California. Before my mission, I participated in bands, choirs, musicals, plays, water polo, wrestling, mascoting, became and Eagle Scout, served on leadership teams and much much more. I love hanging out with my friends. They are not members of the church, but they share the same high standards I have and consider them to be my second family. I have a very wonderful girl in my life who I love very much! I'm not yet sure what I want to major in for college when I get back home. Though, I have always had a passion for music. I hope to one day soon be married and sealed in the temple for all of time and eternity to a very special someone.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the LDS Church. Both my parents are converts of the Church however. I will for ever be grateful for their chioces in learning the gospel of Jesus Christ. Why am I Mormon? Well, at first, when I was a kid, it was because my parents were. But then, when I was about 15 or 16, I made the choice for myself. I pondered the teachings of the Church to know if this was all something I really believed in and if it was true. After some time, I discovered that I agree that peole should set high standards as the church does and strive to be better. I prayed and knew that the Book of Mormon IS true. I am a Mormon because I know this church to be the true church of Christ and it is the only church that holds the authority of God. I am a Mormon because I am able to bless others and allow them to bless me in my life. I am a Mormon because I love those around me and know that through the Temple, we can be with our loved ones forever.

How I live my faith

Currently, it is very easy to live my faith. I am a missionary for the LDS Church and love it. It is great to teach the gospel and bringing others unto Christ. I stand up for what is right and don't back down. I am not afraid to stand for the truth defend it when I can.

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Peter Martin Kinder
Our Heavenly Father knows each and everyone of us and wants us to know Him as well. If we have a desire to know our Father in Heaven, we can then move forward by acting in faith. Pray to our Father in Heaven and ask to feel His love. Be sensitive to the thoughts and feelings you have when praying. Chances are, it's our Heavenly Father communicating back to us. When you know He loves you, fallow His advice and strive to be better. This will draw you closer to Him and allow you to build a stronger relatinoship with Him. Show more Show less
