Hi I'm Michael

I am 18 years old. I am preparing to serve a mission in Honduras. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy sports, especially the game of baseball. I love spending time with my friends and family. I am attending BYU, but currently, I am taking a break from my schooling to go serve a mission in San Pedro Sula, Honduras, for 2 years. There is nothing more that I would rather be doing right now.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family which was Mormon. However, as I grew up, I have learned for myself about the truthfulness of His gospel. I am Mormon because it brings me joy and happiness. It brings me closer to Jesus Christ and helps me become more like Him. I am Mormon because I have found out on my own that it true. I want to be with my family for eternity and through this gospel I can. I am Mormon because I want God's power to bless my life and I receive that through His Holy Priesthood.

How I live my faith

Each and every day I try to live my life in a way that would please my Heavenly Father. I have been a part of numerous service projects and was an Eagle Scout. I am currently serving a full-time mission in Honduras. I want to share the happiness of this gospel with others, so they might have joy like I do. In order to serve this mission, I had to live my life in a reverent, chaste, and righteous way. Each and every day I had to strive to become better and to learn from my mistakes.
