Hi I'm Kaleb Egbert

I grew up in Utah, but I currently live in Tokyo, Japan! I love my life, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am from Orem, Utah, and I have always loved being active. When I was in high school I played football, wrestled And I also hurdled for the track team. I also love swimming, rock climbing, camping, hiking, wake boarding, basically anything that involves being outside. I come from a big family, and family means everything to me. I am currently taking a break from college and work to live in japan for two years. I have been greatly blessed, and I love my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised a member of this church by loving parents who taught me many things. However, I am still a member because I have had many personal experiences with my Father in heaven, and I have come to know for myself, through my own personal study, that this is His church. I know this because I have done a lot of study, asked Him through prayer and received my answer. Being a Mormon, and living with high standards while the standards of the world around us are rapidly dropping is not always easy, but it has brought joy to my life. Not just the happiness that comes quickly and goes quickly, but true joy that lasts. That is why I live my life.

How I live my faith

Right now, I am serving as a missionary. I came here so that I could teach people about important things that mean so much to me. For example, the fact the we have a Father in heaven who loves us so much, or that our families is meant to extend beyond this life. Knowing these things has given me a lot of happiness and peace, and I want my brothers and sisters in japan to know it as well.
