Hi I'm Franciska

I am a creator, a writer, a dreamer, and the daughter of a King. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I served a full-time mission in Stockholm, Sweden. There I learned and grew more than ever. I am a 25 year old and am on a mission to fulfill the measure of my creation. While I don't know the details yet, I know that God has sent me here with passions and with gifts and with dreams. I plan on developing them. I am all about health and well-being. I love discovering the hidden parts of people's lives and thrive on uplifting and inspiring others to do their best. I have not always been a cheerful person but something that I have discovered is that because I have the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life and I am living it, there is always a reason to rejoice. I love my Savior!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it helps me live life to my fullest potential. It helps me to stay balanced and keeps me focused on the most important aspects of life -- education, health, work, relationships. It also keeps me free. The privilege of being able to make all of my own decisions without fear of addiction or negative consequence is what I believe to be most liberating. I've been a Mormon my whole life, but when I finally began dedicating myself to personal scripture study and prayer, my life changed, and I will never be able to see that change as mere coincidence. Years later, I still receive that sweet confirmation that the Savior is real, and that His goodness is abundant in the world for those who are seeking after it. I love that I am able to communicate with my Heavenly Father each and every day. I have someone who will listen to everything on my mind; He will never think something trivial if it's important to me. I also feel so much joy when I have the Spirit with me. That Spirit can lift others in their weakness. I have witnessed it in my own life and continue to witness it in the lives of those that I have grown to know.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by my actions. I'm not the kind of person that is propelled to action and then doesn't take it. Faith in my life encourages me to keep moving forward even if life doesn't happen according to my own timeline. I live my faith by trusting that if I keep the commandments I have been given, that all things will work out according to the most perfect plan, which is the Lord's.

In whom should we have faith?

When I think about faith, I think about believing in something that I know exists but I cannot see it. We should have faith in the Savior, faith that He is there, faith that He is the source of all truth, faith that His voice is always beckoning to us. We should also have faith that we will eventually see those things which we can only believe in at this time. Having faith in the Savior will reap eternal wisdom and eternal happiness. Faith to keep moving forward with Christ guiding you along the way. Show more Show less

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

We follow commandments that have been revealed through ancient and modern prophets. Things which set us most apart are that we don't drink, we don't smoke, we don't have sex before marriage. There are also other things we strive to do on a daily or weekly basis. We attend church on Sundays, we pray individually and as families, and we study the scriptures individually and as families. Service is a central part of our life and we also dedicate a lot of time to volunteering in the Church. We don't get paid, but we do receive a lot of happiness and blessings because we are trying to dedicate our lives to Jesus Christ. Show more Show less
