Hi I'm Melanie

I have three boys. I love music. I love watching sports with my husband. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm a stay-at-home mommy to three young busy boys. I'm married to an amazing guy who always inspires and helps me. We love to camp, 4-wheel, hike, vacation, watch sports, and play games together. I love to cook and try out new recipes all the time. I hate to bake though. I love to sing, play piano, write music, and play guitar (a little). I love playing volleyball and dancing. I've lived in Utah and Colorado and love both places very much. I was a nanny for two years and loved the family I worked for. It halped teach and prepare me for when I became a mother to my own children.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I want to be. It makes me happy. I know that when I follow the commandments and teachings of the gospel, although hard at times, makes me happy. When I get down or think something is too hard to bear, I know that when I study the scriptures, attend church meetings, and say my prayers, things just fall into place and I am more peaceful, happy, and enjoy my surroundings more. This is very important to me. I don't like the idea of 'regret'. I know God lives. I know my Savior lives. I have felt him with me, protecting me when I have been scared or alone. I know the leaders of this church are inspired and receive revelation to help others. I believe in the power of the priesthood and know it is a gift from God.

How I live my faith

I play the piano in church every Sunday. I love to play and I love bringing the spirit into a room with peaceful, meaningful music. I have worked with the young children in church and have really enjoyed that as well. I have planned events for get-togethers with members and non-members. I enjoy visiting teaching to sisters that I don't know and love getting to know them and being a friend.
