Hi I'm Sweety May

I'm a Latter-day Saint. I'm a nurse. I'm a returned missionary from Phils. Baguio Mission.

About Me

I am a graduate in college. I love playing the piano, making poems, baking cakes, and reading the scriptures. I enjoy serving and being in the church. I love Institute and other church activities. I enjoy my friends' company. I always look forward to family gatherings especially Family Home Evenings, it's a time that family members get together and enjoy the moments. I also enjoy participating and being involved in the programs of the church like the Personal Progress.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born with goodly parents. My parents were married in the temple. I grew up in the church and it doesn't mean that I just followed my parents for their belief. It was in my early age that I also studied and sought the truthfulness of the gospel. I read the scriptures, and I also prayed for answers and guidance for myself. I love the church. Every principle that I learned proves to be right, and helps me to stay into that straight and narrow path. There is always peace and assurance that being in the church leads you to happiness eternal.

How I live my faith

I love serving in the church. I enjoy teaching the youth, especially in the Seminary program where we learn more and talk about the scriptures. It's a great privilege to be one of the teachers assigned to teach young women aging 12-18 years old is so uplifting, seeing them live the gospel of Jesus Christ is happiness. I am also a ward missionary so I am more focused on home teaching and visiting teaching. I love talking to people, visiting, and serving them. Being involved in organizing church activities is also one of the things I looked forward to. Thinking about how these activities help and accommodate every age group. Church activities are fun, and there are many lessons and principles to be learned. Everyday is a gift to choose the right, to do every little act of service, to smile, to work, and to live the teachings of our Savior Jesus Christ.

What is faith?

Sweety May
Faith is to hope for things which are not seen but true! It's like we believe that there is air even though we don't see it because we feel it. Trusting that there is a God even though we haven't seen Him is faith. Faith in always needed if we asked something from God. We need to have the absolute trust in God in order to be worthy for the blessings prepared for us. Show more Show less
