Hi I'm Kaitlin Potter

I'm LOUD and love to laugh! I love talking (to everyone...and their dog)!!! I'm accident prone...annnnnd I'M A MORMON!

About Me

I have a lot of "loves" so hold on tight! : I love people, talking, fruits and veggies, sports (of ALL kinds: tennis, snowboarding, wakeboarding, basketball, volleyball...four square! You name it I play it!), laughing, Spanish, traveling, singing, playing guitar, camping, working, learning, food, the smell of rain, how my breath shows in the cold air, playing with kids, hanging out with my friends, being on an improv team, theatre, medical knowledge, and my family (to name a few!) I am a college student...but am currently taking a leave (stay tuned for why!). I graduated from Snow College (Go Badgers!) with my Associates of Science. I was a theatre major while I was there. I transferred to Utah State University where I have been studying Psychology Pre-Physical Therapy. I will plan to finish my Bachelors of Arts (go Spanish!) at Southern Utah University. Now for the big reveal! On December 28th, 2012 I was called to serve a mission in the Philippines Iloilo Mission speaking Hiligaynon (Ilonggo). I report to the MTC on February 13, 2013! I am nervous, scared, but really excited to share the restored gospel!

Why I am a Mormon

I wasn't always a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. There are times where life is hard and you stumble...sometimes you even fall down. Luckily for me I had friends who loved me and lifted me again. I studied the scriptures, I prayed to my Father in Heaven, and I received for myself a testimony of this restored gospel. It's the only thing that makes sense to me. It's perfect in every way. No question I had was left unanswered. I know it's true with all my heart. I'm a Mormon because it's true. I love my Heavenly Father and my Savior. Without all of this knowledge I would be lost. I'm glad that I was found.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by practicing my faith. Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is not easy. It takes constant up-keeping but nothing is more worth keeping than this knowledge and life-saving truth. I do my best to talk with my Heavenly Father daily (usually multiple times! haha), I read my scriptures daily so that I may better understand what I must do, as well as receive the strength I need for the day, I do my visiting teaching (go visit the sisters in my ward and share a spiritual thought or message), I attend all three meetings of church, I partake of the sacrament and renew my covenants, I do my best to fulfill my callings (teacher, indexer, greeter, etc.), I go to the temple, I share the gospel with others, and I constantly reflect on the teachings of Christ and His everlasting Atonement. Sounds like a lot of work huh...it is, but like I said...nothing is more worth it. I promise.
