Hi I'm Alie

I grew up is SLC Utah. I'm the youngest of 6 kids in my family. I play volleyball. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I went to school at BYU-I in Rexburg Idaho, I played volleyball in high school and I love cars and more specifically, jeeps. I went to school for a bit with automotive technology as my major, I did later change it but I still love cars and working on them. I have always had a wonderful family; they are pretty crazy sometimes because of how many of us there are. I am youngest of 6 and the only one that is not married. I have 13 nieces and nephews as of right now but I’m sure we have more to come.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed. I grew up in this faith. My parents raised me to be a Latter Day Saint. I struggled with this gospel a little bit when I was in high school, I didn’t want to believe it but I could never leave this church I knew in my heart that it was the only true church. I quickly got myself back on track and it gave me an even greater appreciation for this gospel. I know it, I live it, I love it!!!!

How I live my faith

I have had a few callings, I was my laurel class president when I was 16, I then went off to school and was a Sunday school teacher in my school ward, when I came home I was given the calling of being a primary teacher. I have enjoyed all of these callings and learned from each one.

How can we increase our faith in Jesus Christ?

We can increase our faith in Christ by becoming more Christlike. In 3 Nephi 27:27 He asks us a question and then gives the answer, it reads “Therefore, what manner of men ought ye to be? Verily I say unto you, Even as I am.” Having faith Him means you trust Him and are confident that He loves you and will keep his promises to you. We show our faith through actions such as service, repentance and obedience. I can show my faith in Christ as a missionary by having the humility to surrender my time, and talents to the Lord. Giving up my desires and making the Lords will my desire, there will often be times that require faith and trusting in the Lord that He knows what is best for me and the people of Washington and as I act on that faith my testimony and the testimony of those around me will grow. In John 6:38 is states “For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of Him that sent me. Show more Show less
