Hi I'm Rebekah

I am from Utah. When I grow up I want to be a nurse, but even more I want to be a wife and mother. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the 7th of 13 children and I absolutely love it. I grew up on a small farm where I learned how to milk cows, ride horses, and work hard. I love the outdoors-hiking, camping, sports, horse riding, etc. Music has always been a large part of my life and one of my favorite things to do is to sit down after a stressful day and play the piano. I am studying to be a nurse at BYU and I love being a student. I love learning new things and am always up for an adventure. Right now I am serving as a missionary for the Lord in the California, Long Beach Mission. I am so grateful for this opportunity I have to share this message of happiness with everyone I meet. I believe that life is a journey. It is hard and often overwhelming. We encounter experiences that are unexpected and painful. However, I know that God is completely aware of each of us individually. He loves us! When we turn to Him He gives us the strength to overcome life's challenges, however hard they seem and however long they last. And as we turn to Him in every experience in life we find more joy than can be found in any other way.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have received a witness from God that this is His church. I grew up as a Mormon, but as I have gotten older I have come to have a firm testimony of my own of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have felt again and again God's love for me and have seen His hand in my life. I have felt the confirming power of the Holy Ghost as He has born witness of this truth.

How I live my faith

I pray to God every day, morning and night. I read His word in the Scriptures, both the Bible and the Book of Mormon. I strive to do the things He asks me to do: love Him, be kind, treat others as I would like to be treated, and always try to be more like His Son, Jesus Christ. I attend Church every week where I have the blessing of renewing sacred covenants I have made with my Heavenly Father. I love my family. And I find happiness every single day, despite the difficulties I encounter, because of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
