Hi I'm Austin Shirey

I am a roofer, I am an extremist, I am a Mormon!

About Me

I attended White River High School in Buckley, WA. In my high school years I earned my Eagle Scout (Boy Scouts of America), I took 5th in state for wrestling, 5th in state for Pole vault, and I made the National Cheer leading team. I graduated High School with my General AA Degree from Green River Community College. I have been dating the same beautiful young women for 2 1/2 years and I hope to one day marry her after we both serve Church Missions. I have received my call to the Denver South, Colorado mission and will be reporting to the Missionary Training Center on February 13, 2013.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon or a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because it has shown me my true potential, not only as a son of my Heavenly Father but also as a Citizen of the USA and of my immediate Community. My faith/religion has taught me great moral values that have made me the successful and happy person I am today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by respecting myself and those around me. I have sought out, gained, and shared my knowledge of the gospel. Even in times where I am not serving in the name of my Heavenly Father I make sure that I am always respectful and helpful towards others. I choose to lead by example and and treat others the way I want to be treated.
