Hi I'm Paden

I love sports, cross country road trips, I'm a family guy and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born of goodly parents, who raised me in the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. No matter what we did, we did it as a family, and that is the greatest thing that i can remember. No matter what sport we were participating in, or what activity, or where we were traveling, we did it as a family. There were definitely times that were stressful, as in any family situation. But it was our understanding that we could be together forever as we did the things that Christ would have us do that allowed us to move on and have a stronger family relationship. My family means the world to me, and I am so grateful for the knowledge that i can be with those that I love forever. I love sports. Nothing gets the adrenaline going like hearing the sound of a whistle to start the face off at a Lacrosse game, or chasing down a hit in the outfield, or running down the court and stealing the ball or blocking a shot. It has been such a big part of my life and something that i will always enjoy. I love being able to help other people especially being able to teach and help them to grow. That has been one of the greatest things that i have been able to be apart of. Seeing people learn new things and be able to go and apply those things.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I know that it is Christ's Church once again upon the Earth. I know that Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God. I know these things because the Holy Ghost has made them known to me. It took me a while to gain my own testimony, rather than to rely on the testimony of those I looked up to. But now that I have, I can not deny the power of God as he speaks to us. God loves us, and wants to be a part of our lives. We just have to let Him in.

How I live my faith

I do everything i can to do the things that God wants me to do. Because we are mortal, we are going to slip up and make mistakes, but we can always stand back up and take more steps towards Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I do what i can to be an example for those around me. I try to do things that will lift those that I am around and with. I do what I can to serve other people, and bring joy to their life like the Savior himself did. I love studying the Gospel and understanding the the teachings that are found within the scriptures. I love being able to connect different teachings that are found in the different scriptures.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

You can know that the things that we believe and teach are true by asking the source of all truth. Pray to our Heavenly Father, ask him with all sincerity, and He will speak to you through the power of the Holy Ghost. Another source is The Book of Mormon. It is an additional testament of Jesus Christ and of His divinity, and is convincing evidence that Joseph Smith was a prophet, and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. Study, Ponder, and Pray! That is how everyone can know that this is true. Show more Show less
