Hi I'm Katherine Kindlespire

I love cycling and hiking. I'm studying to be a PA, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a junior in college and; working hard to get into graduate school to become a PA. I love learning about anything I possibly can. I love to read; I've just gotten into classic literature and am really enjoying it. I also love being active; being outside, in any weather, will always bring a smile to my face. I am currently serving a mission in Beautiful British Columbia for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love sharing what I know to be true, and talking to everyone I possible can!

Why I am a Mormon

I know that this church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is Christ's true church on the earth today. He is the head and our dear prophet, President Thomas S. Monson leads us according to Christ's will. We have everything in our church that Christ had when He was on earth. We aren't perfect. Just as all other religions, all the members of our faith are imperfect humans. Some people are better than others; there are good and bad people in every religion. But I know that the doctrine is perfect. It can answer any question and bring strength to any hard time. Life is not easy, it was never meant to be easy. But we can find true happiness, even in the hard times. I'm so grateful for my family and that we can be together even after this life. I know that this church is true and that God, our Heavenly Father still loves all of His children. That is why He has given us the Book of Mormon, modern revelation to guide us. The Book of Mormon and the Bible are meant to be used together, to compliment each other. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. Just as the Bible is. You will come closer to Jesus Christ, through the Book of Mormon, than an other book. It is truly another testament of Jesus Christ, the entire thing teaches and preaches of Him. This is His church.

How I live my faith

I have had several leadership callings in many different communities. I have loved working with the youth and organizing Temple trips. Recently I have found a love for Family History work, I enjoy sharing that passion with others; and helping them come to know their ancestors. Service is huge part of how I live my faith. I am constantly trying to realign my life with Christ's and trying to be the person He would have me be. I find that when I serve others, in an capacity, I am drawn closer to my Savior. This service comes in many different forms: volunteering at a soup kitchen, washing windows, packing and moving anyone that asks, and sometimes it's as simple as just sitting and listening.
