Hi I'm Mackenzie

I'm a runner, equestrian, and cyclist. I thru hiked the Appalachian Trail, walking from Georgia to Maine. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up and currently live in northern Virginia with my wonderful husband. We enjoy cycling together, and I love endurance running and competitive horseback riding. Last summer, I thru hiked the Appalachian Trail, a footpath that travels from Georgia to Maine. It was one of the best experiences of my life and it was a great experience for my husband and I to have together.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and have always participated in the Mormon faith. However, I was one of the only Mormon youth in my high school and was able to make the commitment as a teenager that I would be dedicated to the gospel. I choose to live within the standards of the church because it makes me happy. Because of the choices I made as a teenager, I was able to attend Brigham Young University, earn a degree, and marry the best partner for me and begin our life together. I can't wait for what the future holds!

How I live my faith

I love being a part of a greater community in the Mormon faith. We teach the 7 and 8 year old children in our congregation and enjoy teaching them about Christ and setting goals with them as the develop their testimonies.
