Hi I'm Jemari

I am a single, working mother. I am a convert. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a great job in Marketing where I get to be creative and spontaneous. My boys are my life! We jump into bed at night and tell each other about our day. I am the fourth out of five children. The only member of the church in my family, which gives me the opportunity to share my testimony often. My church family is truly my extended family- I love serving in church.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because after 16 years of looking for a church where I would feel inspired, I sat down at my first Sacrament Meeting and I cried the entire hour. I had that overwhelming feeling that God was close. After some prayer and a few more visits I knew for certain I had found THE church. I testify that the Savior leads the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I know Heavenly Father loves and knows each and everyone of us. If we stay trust HIM he will be there for us... always.

How I live my faith

Becoming a member of the church has truly changed my life. I grew up in a different religion so I have the opportunity, and so has my family, to see the improvement on my overall behavior. Sure, life isn't perfect, but it helps to know that Heavenly Father loves us and he always answers our prayers. Which is why I love serving in church- it gives me a chance to give back a little to God- we are, after all His hands here on Earth. Currently, I do activities with the 8-11 girls and I teach adult women once a month. I learn more than I teach.... I live my faith by to staying true to what I've learned and by striving to constantly learn. I am still not perfect, but everyday I am a little bit better.
