Hi I'm Emma

I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from BYU in Elementary Education. I taught mostly 2nd grade for 7 years. Now I'm a mom of two and loving it!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew with no religious background. When I was 16 my mom worked with a friend who became a Mormon. My mom not knowing anything about Mormons asked a lot of questions wanting to make sure that her friend was safe. Her friend would invite the missionaries over to her house when we would be there and after meeting with them we could see that they were very nice young men. They asked if we would like to hear about the gospel and we agreed. They started teaching us and invited us to read from the scriptures and pray. We started going to church and met the members there. Everyone was so welcoming. After about 9 months, I decided to be baptized after having received a testimony that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church. I have been a member ever since and I love it!

How I live my faith

I get to visit sisters from our church monthly. I enjoy getting to know them better and serve them. I also teach the gospel to some of the children of our ward every Sunday. We read from the scriptures and share our spiritual insights with each other.
