Hi I'm Kyle Griffiths

I grew up in northern California. I am serving in the Texas Houston East Mission till January 2015. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love being out in nature, and enjoying the creations of our Heavenly Father. Hiking, biking, rock-climbing, and playing at the beach are awesome ways to do that.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church, but when I turned 18 I had it in my mind to find my own way through life. It has taken me a few years to come to the realization that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ on the earth today. I bear my testimony that I know that there is a God and He is my Father in Heaven. I know that His only begotten son in the flesh is Jesus Christ. I know that Jesus came to earth to atone for all of our sins, but not just that he also has made up for our pain and our sorrow and our loneliness. I know that through Him we can return to our Heavenly Father and Him. I know that after He died and then was resurrected that there was a falling away from truth, which made it needful for a restoration to the fullness of the Gospel. I know that Joseph Smith was the 14 year old boy who was visited by God the Father and His Son Jesus Christ and was told none of the churches were true. I know that through him the Gospel was restored, and that the Book of Mormon was translated by the gift and power of God. I know that he was the chosen prophet. I know that there is a living prophet today that leads us and guides us to Him, his name is Thomas S. Monson. I know that Book of Mormon is true. I know that through prayer and study and faith anyone can know of the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon and everything it teaches. This is why I live the Gospel and why I am going to be serving a full-time mission. I say this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I have grown up in the Church, and have wonderful parents that have taught me the way to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ from a young age. My mother has taught me how to love, and my father has taught me how to serve with that love. I have served in the youth program in positions of youth leadership. As I have become an adult I have served as the young mens president. I also have been in charge of a weekly activity called sportsnight, where we get together and create friendships and exce

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Kyle Griffiths
I have found out for myself that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, a.k.a. Mormonism, is true through reading the Book of Mormon, and then praying to know from God, our Heavenly Father, whether or not it is true. I did not come to know it all at once, but over time. I know that everyone can come to know the truth by these same means. The Book of Mormon is the evidence that God has called a prophet again to the earth. That through that prophet, Joseph Smith, He restored the fulness of the gospel. All of this is testified in the Book of Mormon! I know that by excepting the invitation in the Book of Mormon, to read it and pray about its truthfulness, you too can come to the knowledge that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is God's true church restored again to the earth!
