Hi I'm Jason

I grew up in Ohio. I moved to Utah when I was 18. I am going to El Salvador and Belize on a mission, and I am a mormon.

About Me

My name is Jason. I did a semsester of college at Byu Idaho before working on mission papers and turning them in. When I got my call to El Salvador and Belize I was ecstatic. My hobbies are running, and i love to play and watch sports. While I do not play any competitively, I am always down for playing them with friends. I also love watching sports, with my favorites being baseball and football.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon first and foremost because I know the church to be true. While I have been Mormon my entire life, I didn't really have a firm testimony until I was sixteen. I would just kind of live the actions of being a mormon. I feel prayer was what really helped me convert to the Gospel. As soon as I started praying regularly and asking the Lord to help me get a testimony, I started to really start to be able to know the truth in the church. I have seen the hapiness that the church brings into my life and into the lives of others.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an example to everyone. While I do not currently have a calling with the Ward I am in, I strive to go every week. I also strive to always be an example of Christ in everything that I do. Since I am originally from Ohio, I had the opportunity there to be a missionary towards those in my High School and whoever I met. Moving to Alpine Utah has made it more difficult, though, as about 90 percent of the city is LDS.
