Hi I'm Kelsie Christensen

I grew up in Utah, I am serving a mission in San Jose California. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I went to a year and a half of college before I went on my mission. I worked as a salesman for a men's clothing store, I also worked as a referee. I love to play sports. In high school I played lacrosse. I love being around people. A couple years back I got involved in an Autism Carnival. It happens every fall. You have people walking around in costumes for the kids to talk to and get pictures with, there is games, and animals. Its a day just for those kids.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been very blessed to have been born to parents who are members of the church. They were always very good at living the gospel and teaching us what they believed. They never forced me to go to church or to be active. They made it so it was my choice. I know that this church is true. I know that the gospel has had in impact in my life. That when I am living the way that I should that I am truly happier. Christ has always been there to lift me up. I know that God loves each and everyone of us. I am so grateful for gospel and my opportunity that i have to share it as well as be a part of it. I love my family and I am so grateful for the wonderful blessings that i have received from the temple and because of that I have the opportunity to be with my family forever. I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel on the earth today and that he was a prophet of God. I know this church is true and I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

I had the great opportunity as I was going through the youth program of the church to be president. This was a great opportunity for me. While I was serving as president, I got to plan our weekly activities. I got to conduct meetings. I was in charge of informing the girls about the weekly activities. I would have once a month meetings with the Bishop. This was a great opportunity for me to learn leadership as well as really get to know the girls in my ward. I really got to connect one on one with each of the girls in my group. It was a blessing in my life and I hope it was also a blessing in theirs.
