Hi I'm Mark

I grew up in Arizona. I was in foster care for a couple of years. I'm a head cook in a place i work at. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I love to do sports. I was in Wrestling and Football in high school. I was undefeated my freshman year but broke ribs before state. Other than that I had a great years in Wrestling with being Captian for the team for 2 years. I played football as a Fullback then later went to play as Right Tackle on offense and Right Defensive end for defense. I love to cook. I'm one of the head cooks at a family restaurant that I work at and really enjoy it. My hopes are to one day to be able to save enough money to go to a Culinary school to further my knowledge. I also enjoy wood working. I've made a dresser and jewlery boxes and is working on a bunk bed.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because as soon as I went to the church for the first time I felt like I was home and like i belonged there. I also felt accepted by everyone there and to me that is a problem that I struggle with is being accepted by people.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by setting a good example to people of who I am and on how much I truly love my faith. I strive to help others that are in need of help and assistance and being kind and friendly to everyone.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

We do not regard the Bible as Holy Scipture. We use the Bible hand in hand with the Book of Mormon for it is the complete Restoration of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Book of Mormon like the Bible is another testiment of Jesus Christ. We believe that ancient prophets such as Moses or Issiah did live and write abouth the coming of Christ, but we also believe that God called prophets in other lands in the Book of Mormon. I believe that if someone uses the Book of Mormon and the Bible (King James Version) and abides by its teaching that a man or woman will come closer to God. Show more Show less
